【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesaspectrophotometricmethodforthedeterminationofhydroquinoneinphotographicprocessingwaste.Thismethodcanbeappliedtosamplescontaininghydroquinoneintheconcentrationrangeof200μg/lto4000μg/l;aminophenolsandphenylenediaminesshouldalsobedeterminedbythismethod.However,sulfonatedhydroquinonesorproductsfromthefurtheroxidationofbenzoquinonewillnotbedetermined.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodisconsideredsatisfactoryfortheacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofsteeltirecordbecausecurrentestimatesofbetween-laboratoryprecisionforsinglematerialsareconsideredacceptableandthemethodhasbeenusedextensivelyinthetradeforacceptancetesting.Iftherearedifferencesorpracticalsignificancesbetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,thetestsamplesshouldbeusedthatareashomogenousaspossible,thataredrawnfromthematerialfromwhichthedisparatetestresultswereobtained,andthatarerandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Othermaterialswithestablishedtestvaluesmaybeusedforthispurpose.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Themolddescribedinthistestmethodisprimarilydesignedforqualityacceptancetestingforsteelcordwherethesamplesizeforeachcordis4oramultiplethereof,butanymold/cavitycombinationwhichwillprovidetherequiredtestblockdimensions(Figs.1and2)isacceptable.AppendixX1containssuggestedrangesofenvironmentalconditionsforagingtests.Thepropertymeasuredbythistestmethodindicateswhethertheadhesionofthesteelcordtotherubberisgreaterthanthecohesionoftherubber,thatis,completerubbercoverageofthesteelcord,orlessthanthecohesionoftherubber,thatis,lackofrubbercoverage.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheforcerequiredtopullasteelcordfromablockofvulcanizedrubber.1.2Althoughdesignedprimarilyforsteelcord,thistestmethodmaybeappliedwithmodificationstowireusedinrubberproducts.1.3Thistestmethodcanalsobeusedforevaluatingrubbercompoundperformancewithrespecttoadhesiontosteelcord.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
