【摘要】:Thermalanalysisprovidesarapidmethodformeasuringtransitionsduetomorphologicalorchemicalchanges,inapolymerasitisheated/cooledthroughaspecifiedtemperaturerange.Changeinspecificheatcapacity,heatflowandtemperaturevaluesaredeterminedforthesetransitions.Differentialscanningcalorimetryisusedtoassistinidentifyingspecificpolymers,polymeralloys,andcertainpolymeradditives,whichexhibitthermaltransitions.Chemicalreactionsthatcauseoraffectcertaintransitionshavebeenmeasuredwiththeaidofthistechnique;suchreactionsincludeoxidation,curingofthermosettingresins,andthermaldecomposition.Thistestmethodisusefulforspecificationacceptance,processcontrol,andresearch.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftransitiontemperaturesandenthalpiesoffusionandcrystallizationofpolymersbydifferentialscanningcalorimetry.p>Note18212;Trueheatsoffusionaretobedeterminedinconjunctionwithstructureinvestigation,andfrequently,specializedcrystallizationtechniquesareneeded.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletopolymersingranularformortoanyfabricatedshapefromwhichitispossibletocutappropriatespecimens.1.3Thenormaloperatingtemperaturerangeisfromthecryogenicregionto600176;C.Certainequipmentallowsthetemperaturerangetobeextended.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsarethestandard.Note28212;Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytoalltypesofpolymersaswritten(see6.8).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note38212;ThisstandardissimilarbutnotequivalenttoISO11357-1,-2,-3.TheISOproceduresprovideadditionalinformationnotsuppliedbythistestmethod.
