【摘要】:Thispracticecoversspecificproceduresandtestconditionsthatareapplicableforexposureofplasticsinenclosedcarbon-arcdevicesconductedinaccordancewithPracticesG151andG153.Thispracticealsocoversthepreparationoftestspecimens,thetestconditionssuitedforplastics,andtheevaluationoftestresults.Thispracticedoesnotcoverfilteredopen-flamecarbon-arcexposuresofplastics,whicharecoveredinPracticeD1499.PracticeD5031describesenclosedcarbon-arcexposuresofpaintsandrelatedcoatings.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothispractice.
